Kyle Rittenhouse found not guilty on all charges

In Kenosha, Wisconsin the verdict was read NOT GUILTY for Kyle Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges. The 17 year old then (now 18 years old) was charged with first degree intentional homicide, attempted first degree intentional homicide, first degree reckless homicide.

In 2020 Rittenhouse shot three men killing two men and wounding the third. Rittenhouse went to a protest against police brutality. Rittenhouse says that it was self defense, saying the men were attacking him and he was defending himself. Joseph Rosenbaum was shown in a bystander videos chasing Rittenhouse and throwing a plastic bag at him. The video shows Rittenhouse going behind a car while Rosenbaum then Rittenhouse fired his firearm. The second victim was caught in the crossfire of Rittenhouse and Rosenbaum’s dispute. The last victim was Anthony Huber. Rittenhouse chased him and shot him.

A lot of people are disappointed in the verdict. The system is built to prove your innocence “innocent until proven guilty”. Rittenhouse showed that his actions were in self defense.
